Slinkachu
The 'Little People Project' started in 2006, The reason he calls himself by Slinkachu is because he would rather be unknown
Slinkachu's captures photographs of tiny figures with a interesting background: from far away and up-close. He uses everyday objects and figurines to create a setting in which he is going to photograph. Slinkachu focuses on depth of field by using miniature figures against "normal" sized objects to create a striking image. Each photo gives out a different effect, he produces touching pictures. Slinkachu has gone global and is very successful, as well as bringing a book of his own out he even got to present his amazing work live in shows in places like London and new York.
I really like Slinkachu's work, I think it is original and creative. When I look at his work, all of his photos tell a story in a fun and unique way.

My Practice Work On Slinkachu
These are my first attempted at Slinkachu. I started really bad, also the focus point wasn't placed on the right place on most of the pictures, it had to be on the figure. But in the other hand I think the pictures are good it looks like the decorator is rapping to the music, the reflection works as well.
These are my second attempted at Slinkachu. Most of the pictures have no meaning I failed on most of them but what i like about that is I learnt how to focus well and used it good in my work. I blurred out the background on some of them making the figure stand out. I did better than my first attempt because here I learned to keep the focus point on the figure.
MY FIRST STRONGEST SLINKACHU PHOTOGRAPH
This is my first strongest Slinkachu photograph I like the colour and focus it looks clear also the background is blurred and the figure is on focus. I tried loads of different angles for this photo. I like how the background colours blends in. Also I like the aperture of this photo as not to much light has been let in.
MY SECOND STRONGEST SLINKACHU PHOTOGRAPH
This is my second strongest slinkachu photograph because the Focus Point was placed on the right place, on the figure that's why it makes the picture successful, also this picture has a small depth of field.
More of my practice work on slinkachu
These photographs are my best two shots it creates a nice photo as the background is white, and makes the red stand more out, also I like how the background blends in with the red. Also the focus point was placed on the right place which makes the photo successful.
Isaac Cordal
Isaac creates tiny spaces what are isolated from the city, unlike slinkachu isaac has a sad and lonely effect in his work. All his work tells a depressing story. His work is real life, it reminds society of our everyday modern life. It drags eyes into his work to take in everything what is happening in his photos. Cordal manages to capture a lot of emotion in his vignettes, in spite of their lack of detail or colour.
This is something people regularly see in real life. This photo is very effective from the angle the photo is taken from. The focus is the sad faces of the poor man and dog. The fact that its snowing and it's cold, makes me have sympathy for the man being on the streets. You can tell this photo was shoot on the back streets not much as Isaac has purposely used a big aperture on the little figure leaving the background to be unnoticeable. |
FIRST TAKE IN THE STYLE OF ISAAC CORDAL
The first picture is taken from far and its bad because you can't really see what the man is doing, the second picture is more closer but a bit out of focus and the background is more on focus, the third picture is the best one I've taken the figure is clear and the background is out of focus and the picture has a medium depth of field
This picture is the best one I've taken the figure is clear and the background is out of focus and the picture has a medium depth of field. There are rock pieces next to the figure that makes it look like the man is drilling down the rocks and this makes the picture more successful
SECOND TAKE IN THE STYLE OF ISAAC CORDAL
These are some of my favorite pictures I took in the style of Isaac Cordal, I like the first photo as it is strong, and I like they way it is in black and white because it makes the picture look more like them old days and that he is working really hard. These two photos are very effective from the angle they have been taken from.
MY FINAL PIECE
This is my final piece as it was my favourite photo. This photo is very effective from the angle the photo is taken from, it shows that he is working really hard. The reason why this is my final piece is because it describes a story, Isaac's photographs has mostly a sad and lonely effect in his work. All his work tells a depressing story, therefore I have been working in his style and chose this to be my final piece.
